The first time when I heard the quote from a movie “assumption is mother of all %$^&ups” I didn’t realize the strength of the quote and all that I liked was that four letter word. Now when I start looking at each situation in daily life I see a good amount of people live their life only on assumptions
Let me get to a daily happening
Pedestrians: People just cross the road in the middle of the running traffic assuming that wheelers will drive carefully and let them cross the road
Wheelers: They just drive amid the pedestrians who are crossing the road thinking they will walk carefully
What happens when the assumptions go wrong? Obviously somebody is “%$^&ed”
These are people who are at all levels in the society! They tend to talk about assumption in a forum but when it comes to a day-to-day life they assume
It has become a habit for most of us and we practice it religiously. Can we live a day’s life without assuming?
